What we do
Currently, we meet monthly. Most of our meetings are in Leicester, but our members come from across the East Midlands. Our meetings alternate house Masses with social events. Our social events include day trips or watching movies or videos which may be of interest to our members. Occasionally we have organised retreats or meetings with invited speakers.
Some of us, living in Leicester, gather every Thursday for Morning prayer and breakfast.
The Dominican community at Holy Cross Priory, Leicester, supports us by providing our Chaplain. A group of us regularly attends the Sunday 9.30 Mass at Holy Cross Church, Leicester, and we play an active part in our broader Church community.
In February 2006, we celebrated our first open Mass for LGBT Catholics (read report). We intend to have such Mass at least twice a year. Our latest Mass was celebrated on Saturday 6 October 2007 at Holy Cross Church, Leicester (read Fr Fabian's sermon).
